Metro Phoenix had a 42% GDP growth from 2019 to 2023, business applications grew by 61% and there was a 25.8% increase in roadway miles. Eight of our cities ranked in the top ten in the US for economic growth (Coworking Café). Mesa was strongest of the large cities. Going forward, the AZ Commerce Authority reports that more than 400 companies are currently considering relocating or expanding to the Valley. Some of the main factors noted for the past and projected strong growth include: location, business friendly tax and regulatory environment, numerous high-value industries, strong diversified economy, continued creation of JOBS, affordable housing and energy, exports, infrastructure and the huge investment dollars ear-marked for our area.
